Pepe would help add some real quality depth to Jurgen Klopp’s frontline after he enjoyed a hugely successful 2018/19 campaign for the Ligue 1 side – he hit 23 goals and recorded 12 assists in all competitions last season.

Signing the 24-year-old Pepe would help them get closer to the Citizens’ level, and would also be a real statement of intent after their sixth major European Cup win.
