Whilst the end of the Premier League transfer window may prevent clubs in England from bringing in new players, it does nothing to stop the ones they already have being sold.
Across most of the rest of Europe, the deadline does not come until the start of September, which could see several footballers moving abroad before the end of the month.
One of those who has been linked with a loan move away from Arsenal is Mohamed Elneny. The Egypt international joined the club from Basel in 2016 for £7.4m and has made 89 appearances for the Gunners.
However, only 17 of those came last season and, as such, there has been speculation surrounding his future.
The 27-year-old is not a star player at the Emirates stadium, and many are happy with the news. Some have questioned why it is just a loan deal being talked about, whilst a couple suggested he could provide good squad depth for cup games.
Either way, they have made their opinions clear on Twitter. You can see some of the best comments below.
